Wedding Hire Melbourne Covid Safe Plan has been put together to ensure the safety for staff, visitors, and clients against the spread of Covid 19.  Our sites include our factory premises at 1/15 Hi Tech Place Seaford, ceremony locations for indoor and outdoor setups, reception, and function venues for private and corporate clients.

We have individual detailed Covid Safe Plans that can be produced on request for each of our site requirements.

All our staff have completed the following courses to ensure the safety, well being and procedures against the spread of Covid 19 with The Sentrient Team

  1. Covid-19 Safety At Work
  2. Infection Prevention and Control
  3. Health and Wellbeing

Wedding Hire Melbourne will be providing complimentary Sanitisation Stations for our Couples Wedding Ceremonies which will include Hand Sanitiser, Disposable Facemasks and Signage to stop the spread of Covid19 and to support our couples on having the safest celebration as possible.

 

  1. Ensure Physical Distancing

The Ceremony:

  • All staff to work in teams of 2 working with social distancing of 1.5m as much as possible for indoor and outdoor setups
  • Complimentary Signs will be displayed advising social distancing rules and will be enforced while Wedding Hire Melbourne are in charge of the site (Bar Services Provided)
  • Complimentary Signs will also be provided advising social distancing rules in support of our clients wedding ceremony
  • On completion of our setups the ceremony will be handed over to the Celebrant making our services contactless when no bar services is provided (Celebrant is now in charge of the Ceremony Area for Social Distancing enforcement for the safety of all).
  • Pack down to be completed once the couple and guests have left the area or instructed to do so
  • Carpooling – Only staff from the same household can carpool all other staff to meet on site at specified time.

The Reception :

  • All staff to work in small teams with 1.5m social distancing rules
  • Staff to work with venues regarding setups as required for minimal contact and 1.5m social distancing rules. Where possible to be the only supplier on site at the time of setup including venue staff at minimal contact
  • Staff to only work on 1 work site per day
  • Onsite equipment will be required to be packed down and boxed / bagged for easy collection at venue with contactless and minimal collection

The Factory:

  • Visitors to our factory premises will be limited to appointment only with social distancing 1.5m apart
  • Pick Up and Return of equipment to be loaded and unloaded with click and collect system. Trolleys to be provided for loading and unloading of equipment where possible with minimal contact
  • Delivery and Pick Up Services clients will need to provide easy access for delivery and pickup areas example: Garage, outdoor area, loading dock

 

  1. Wear a Face Covering

 

  • All staff will be required to wear a face covering when working across all sites including Indoor and Outdoor Ceremony Locations, Indoor and Outdoor Venues and Factory Premises
  • We will provide face masks to staff and guests at our wedding ceremonies if they do not have one
  • Staff have been informed on how to wear a facemask correctly
  • Facemasks to be worn unless a lawful exception applies including medical reasons

 

  1. Practice Good Hygiene

 Ceremony and Venue Locations:

  • All equipment before and after hire will be cleaned and sanitized with commercial grade detergents and disinfectants
  • Hand Sanitiser will be provided complimentary at all wedding ceremonies setup by Wedding Hire Melbourne to be placed with facemasks for easy access to staff, guests and suppliers on site including signage
  • Bar Service at Public Weddings provided by Wedding Hire Melbourne clients will be encouraged to provide disposable drink options such as but not limited to bottle water, stubbies, and cans for instant disposable to rubbish bins provided. Single use glassware to be provided for bottled wine options.
  • Hand Sanitiser to be placed on the bar for additional hand sanitising for guests to access when required for cleaning of hands with access to handtowels if needed for drying
  • Staff to wear disposable gloves when handling of glassware and to change regularly as needed
  • Staff to wash their hands or use hand sanitiser provided by Wedding Hire Melbourne before starting on site during the day, on setup and pack down and bar service.

The Factory:

  • All equipment before and after hire will be cleaned and sanitized with commercial grade detergents and disinfectants
  • Hand Sanitiser has been provided at the front entrance of the showroom for all staff, visitors, and customers to use when entering our factory premises
  • Hand wash has been provided in the bathroom and kitchen areas allowing for handing washing
  • Hand towels have now been provided in the kitchen and bathroom areas for hand drying with access to bins for instant disposal
  • Spray and Wipe is on hand for easy wiping of high touch areas for staff to use as needed
  • Tissues have been provided for staff, visitors, and customers to use should they need to sneeze, blow their nose. With easy access to bins for instant disposal

 

  1. Record Keeping

Ceremony Location:

  • Guests Lists may need to be provided with guest name and contact number which will be held for 28 days as per the government guidelines for any contact tracing should an outbreak occur.
  • Supplier list to include any suppliers on site only during the ceremony with name, business, and contact numbers to be provided the couple getting married

Venue Locations:

  • Wedding Hire Melbourne will abide by all venues rules and regulations when entering their workplace by providing names, contact numbers for contract tracing and temperature checks as required.

Factory:

  • An attendance register has been placed at the front entrance of the showroom for staff and visitors to complete which will be held for 28 days as per the government guidelines for any contact tracing should a staff member or visitor test positive for Covid 19
  • We will encourage and support our staff for any reason should they feel unwell to stay home and get tested should they have any mild symptoms.

 

We will implement our detailed Covid plan as outlined by government guidelines should a positive case of Covid 19 be reported to the appropriate governing agencies with supporting documentation

 

  1. Enclosed Spaces

Ceremony Locations:

  • Staff to work on outdoor locations as much as possible
  • Should a back up plan be put into place due to weather conditions and an indoor location be put into place. Staff to setup and leave the premises as soon as possible to avoid being in an enclosed space for long period of time.
  • Staff to request that the indoor venue have fresh air flow operating while setting up as per government guidelines

Venue Locations:

  • Staff to work in small teams at 1.5m apart as per social distancing rules
  • Staff to setup as the only supplier in the room along with minimal or no venue staff
  • Staff to request that the indoor venue have fresh air flow operating while setting as per government guidelines

Factory Location:

  • Roller door at factory entrance to be open at all times while working at the factory premises to allow fresh air flow through or put down ¾ of the way for wet weather conditions
  • Front door of showroom to be remain open to allow fresh air flow
  • Airconditioning Units to be serviced regularly for clean airflow through showroom
  • Staff encouraged to take breaks and meal breaks outdoor

 

  1. Create Workforce Bubbles

All Locations:

  • Staff to work in small teams at each location at 1.5m apart
  • Staff to be as contactless as possible where possible
  • Staff to remain in the same team at all times
  • Staff to be assigned specific tasks to be completed at each location.
