Elwood Bathers Wedding Ceremony and Reception was the perfect beach location for Shanelle and Zayne for their beach themed wedding.
With the perfect water view from the lawn area overlooking the waterfront to the floor to ceiling windows in the function room for their wedding reception.
I first met Shanelle and Zayne along with Shanelle’s mum when they contacted me for an appointment after already booking for some of our services a couple of months before hand. It was an evening appointment where we sat down and discussed as well as going through colors for their wedding reception and creating a mock up table.
The Wedding Reception:
Choosing chair covers with periwinkle satin sashes and periwinkle organza table runners for the reception tables. The original centerpiece was working with our 50cm white pedestal flower/ candle holders which Shanelle was designing something herself.
But when time came closer decided to change her centerpiece and had a florist design an amazing tropical floral arrangement in tall cylinder vases which certainly created an impact and flow with not only a beach theme but also with polynesian feel.
On the day we were in love with the additional personal touches that Shanelle created for her wedding reception including the surf board seating chart along with many other beach theme pieces including a boat filled with nic nacs made by her dad…
The Wedding Ceremony
It wasn’t until about 4 months prior to the wedding that Shanelle decided to engage our services also for the wedding ceremony. Having already booked another company for an arch they decided that working with us already for the reception that it would great if we could do the ceremony also which we were happy to assist.
Shanelle and Zayne came along to Wedding and Bride Expo at the Melbourne Showgrounds in January which they saw we were exhibiting and saw our new Hexagon Arch on display that they fell in love and booked our arch their and then. We added chairs and white carpet runner to create their wedding ceremony setup. Their florist created arch flowers in the same theme as their centerpieces of tropical leaves and flowers which look stunning on our gold hexagon arch.
It was a pleasure working with Shanelle in helping her create her beach themed wedding and we were excited on the final styling that we provided.
