Wedding Ceremony at Carlton Gardens  is a perfect choice they have a range of lawns that you can choose from to have a wedding ceremony just outside of the central business district of Melbourne.  The Carlton Gardens are a 26 hectare site that is world heritage listed that is also home to The Royal Exhibition Buildings, Melbourne Museum and other recreational facilities.

It also one of the many gardens within the Melbourne city limits that is popular for couples to get married and have their wedding ceremony.  There are over 20 lawns to choose from within Carlton Gardens spread out over both sides of the Royal Exhibition Buildings.  You can go through the Melbourne City Council interactive map to choose your lawn location which is identified with a number.  You can also apply for a council permit which is required when getting married within the many gardens in and around the city of Melbourne.

Lawn 15 at the Carlton Gardens would be the most popular location as it is located on the city side of the gardens and runs through the middle of the gardens.  Lawn 15 has the perfect backdrops at either end to choose from.  For many couples this is the preferred lawn as at one end the Royal Exhibition Buildings and the giant fountain as a backdrop. The other end  when setup up near the fountain and facing the opposite end gives a direct views to the city with tall elm lawns on either side of the lawn.
