Weddings at Sorrento Park

Weddings at Sorrento Park on the Mornington Peninsula would have to be one of the most popular public locations for wedding ceremonies on the Mornington Peninsula.   To apply for a permit to have a wedding ceremony on the Mornington Peninsula you will need to contact the Shire Council and Apply for a permit.

The council do have a set of terms and conditions that need to be abide by when having a wedding ceremony to get married on the Mornington Peninsula that include but not limited to:

  • Maximum amount of 20 x Chairs
  • An Arch is allowed but must be weighted down with bags no pegging is allowed
  • No Confetti, Rose Petals or Rice is permitted
  • Market Umbrella’s are allowed but must be weighted down with weight bags no pegging is allowed
